I heard that you could have issues when you try to start eating it again, is this true? If so how long would it take for these "issues".

    wtf are you talking about?

You can go for as long as you want without meat? I think this is a question of willpower, but what the fuck?

Yeah, if you haven't eaten meat in a while and you eat a burger, you're going to shit pretty heartily. It passes quickly. No big deal.

i went almost 2 years without it.. then had a 1lb burger.... really bad stomach ache, and had the shits for the longest time....

eat it again now, stomache aches, feel like throwing up, the SHITS... thats it, only take 2-4 weeks of twice a week to get back into it.. start with real lean and get fattier

Why do people turn vegan, i've never understood this. your body is designed to process and digest meat. for over 140,000 years the main source of diet for human beings was meat so what makes people think subtracting this from their diet is healthy? im not bashing you at all, i just can't understand the rational of people who turn vegan.

I think hes talking about maybe a liquid diet. When i was working two jobs and going to school i had to get my calories from a shake. Once i stopped if felt "unnatural" trying to chew food.

    edit: oh.

:werd: I went on a liquid diet for a couple weeks and it was strange getting back to eating solid food again. Then again it was depressing drinking non-stop protein shakes all day long too.

i haven't had red meat in maybe a month but i eat pork, chicken and fish regularly.

when i say regularly, i mean religiously. pretty much just that and veggies, some carbs in the morning.

trying my hardest to stay low fat low carb hi fiber/protein diet right now while i'm cutting.

i have no issues with beef in general but i'd like to make the cut as effective as possible and eating a marbled ribeye really won't do it for me right now.

when i ramp up the calories a bit, it'll come back into my diet.

But isn't pork pretty high in fat depending on what part you eat?
