I've had to take a week and a half off so far because of a very bad flu. I'm mostly better now, but i still have a cough.

How long does F&N usually wait before training? Until every symptom is completely gone? :o

I FINALLY got back in the gym last night after being sick.

I had some type of flu/cold/sinus infection for nearly a week. Sore throat, slight fever (99/100), stuffy nose, body soreness, etc...

Sucked ass. I wasn't aware you could ever get the flu like that in the summer :ugh:

I am most certainly getting the flu shot this fall though. I had a case of the flu over spring break that was absolutely TERRIBLE. Basically all of the above symptoms but just 10 X worse and a 102/103 fever... I felt like I was hit by a truck. All I could do was sleep 15 hours a day and lay in bed. One of the experiences ever.

Still lift when I'm sick, I need to be really really sick for me to not hit the gym. Otherwise, going to the gym while sick makes me feel better symptom-wise.

This is true for me when I have a head cold. It gets the blood flowing, takes my mind off feeling shitty, and opens up the airways.

With a fever inducing flu or stomach virus though I can't even think about getting in the gym.

Only time I would be out of the gym from sickness is if I was barfing.

I used to get sick constantly before I started working out. Allergies, sinus, bronchitis, stomach flu's, you name it. Throughout the year I was sick more than I was well, I'd be sick for weeks at a time.

Since I've started working out I don't think I can remember a time where I've been sick with the flu. I've had head cold's here and there and they last a fraction of what they used to last.

Same here. I know its weird, but I sort of feel like I'm sweating the sickness out. Even though it's not the case as long as it works I guess it's great. The hardest part is getting started though, but once I'm about halfway through I feel better than I did before. The only reason I'm not lifting right now is because I had a tonsillectomy and it's probably not in my best interest to induce massive amounts of bleeding. :sadwavey:

just came down with a sore throat today and it's gonna be worse, I can already tell. I'm taking a week off due to that combined with the fact I went too heavy too many times recently and my body hurts all over.
