I went to the store the other night and the $/lb of huge salmon fillets were $1.99/lb whereas chicken was $2.99/lb

Is this some freak accident or did I just find a new staple food? :yum:

ps. Anyone have any good salmon recipes?? :x:

It's prob an old batch they are trying to get rid of before they have to trash it or it could be skunk fish, like not top quality. Chicken is always cheaper but give the fish a try, worst case is it doesnt taste as good as the stuff you normally get.

Hmmm, isn't it salmon season right now in the pacific northwest? I know that at a certain time in the summer they all come down from the coast of Aaska to the the Puget Sound and other parts of coast of Washington-- the whole area gets flooded with salmon. Fish and Game practically beg people to fish the area because it gets so overrun with them.
