A+ certification. I am a newbie of sorts with computers. I can install hardware, basic software, etc. But I have no programming experience or dealt with things like overclocking or messing with the CMOS.

I have the A+ cert. study book and a cd-rom with multiple practice tests. I get mid 400's on the test prior to me starting to read that book. I believe passing is a 700 something, how much time realistically could I do this in studying (reading the book, retaking practice exams) about 4 nights a week?

i studied for two weeks then took the first part and passed it. I was to lazy to go back and take the 2nd but it looked really easy.

A+ is pretty useless unless you want to work for Best Buy computer repair department or something where a clue need not apply.
