    Everything you need. :bigthumb:

Are you looking to find the owner? Buy one? A general rule of thumb is the $15K price - Either you will buy a pristine example for around $15K, or you will buy one that needs work and it will cost you $15K in the end to get it up to spec.

Well, after you wash them and vacuum the interior, it starts to get REALLY hard to determine the clean from the not so clean ones. :o

they handle like a dream, they need a little more power.

I like the 325is better. Much easier to find clean, and with decent power alright. The 6 definitely compares with the four well.

I've seen a black one and a white within the last week. I must own one someday.

e30 m3's are a cult classic. with 5000 us examples built, probably less than 2500 are left. they're finicky, expensive, dont make much power, require constant attention, etc. numbers wise, an e36 [m3] will easily outpace an e30. but e30's are just way more fun to drive (trailing arms w00t).

oh yeah, a competently built 2.5 with all the bells and whistles can break the bank for around $7-10k. but damn, they pull like a train from 4-8k rpms :)

s50 swaps are the cheater way out imo. cheap, reliable power (read no valve adjustment). however, purists scoff at the notion of removing the s14 (and the fact of removing an ///m motor for a warmed over 3.0 liter m50). the engine does upset the balance of the car somewhat, however, ltw parts and revalved shocks can alleviate the effects of the weight.

buy one while you can. the market is getting thinner everyday. people are buying them to keep. 15k rule stands as a general rule, however, get a ppi by a mechanic who is well versed in the idiosynchracies of the s14.

I just found an awesome example. I saw it today. A friend of a friend has this:

    89 Red E30 M3
    about 100k Miles
    black leather
    Awesome shape
2nd gear syncro is shot. :sad2: and the trim on the p. side is peeling, but other than that from what i saw the car is mint.
He's got a Stromburg dual tip exhaust (I've never even heard of stromburg, but it looks very high quality and gives a real nice deep sound)
    And he's got 17 x9.5 Hartge rims w/ 225inch summer tires.

The car is located in central canada. I did a quick search and did not find any other E30 M3's for sale in Canada.

How much is this bitch worth?

im almost sure that is the one. i saw this car at pismo beach in california while i was signing up for hourly ATV rentals at the beach. there was a man there in his 30's it looked like with what seemed like his wife? they were renting atv's too. i didnt want to bother him asking about his car but i wanted to! danm i wish i could afford the proper upkeep of something like that.
