And what's the best/cheapest to get? I have 512, I would want to add a 1GB stick for now.

    Disassembly instructions *HERE*
I found it to be a fairly painless procedure.
I ordered 2x1GB RAM sticks from *HERE*
They sell the 1gb sticks individually as well. I had never heard of the manufacturer, but according to many long time mac users here on OT, they have a great reputation. Not the cheapest, but fully compatible with my MBP. Supposedly some corsair memory doesn't work correctly on these laptops, as well as some other brands I'm sure. I'm happy so far :hs:

    couple easy steps...

    unplug from wall
    flip over
    remove battery
remove the 3 screws from under the battery that hold the little compartment door secure
    remove compartment door
    install ram
    put everything back together

honestly, it'll take you 2 minutes
