How fast can a dvd burner burn a cdr?

    It's probably been talked about before, but I did a quick search and couldn't find anything useful.

    it depends on the burner - generally between 10x and 24x

    Just look at the stats of the burner. They are right on the box.

    My $150 dvd burner burns cd's at either 32 or 40x. Can't remember, but it usually takes about 2 minutes for a full cd.
