I found a decent protein bar that I want to eat if I want something sweet. It will only be once or twice a week but I am curious if my body responds to sugar alcohol just like sugar (Meaning I can't eat it on my diet).

I am not really worried about a feeling or the shits. I just want to know if it breaks my diet.

never really dug very deep into it, but I'm sure it has some kind of effect on it. Stick to natural shit man, it's healthier in the long run

Sugar alcohols are still processed through the same metabolic pathways as glucose. You just dont have as large a net gain of ATP through the process, so you have a few less total calories from them. Studies have shown them to illicit a similar insulin response as well. Some sugar alcohols like mannitol and xylitol have a lesser insulin response though.

I just discovered a tastier way to eat caramel nut. Split top and bottom layer. Eat bottom layer first.

Now sit back, make sure you're comfortable (preferably pantless cos you will get a boner) and enjoy the top layer. Mouth will be in ecstasy.

my diet guy Shlelby laughed at me when I asked if they are okay to eat on a diet, he said they would be okay as an occasional treat on a bulk. take that as you well. (Supreme Bars)

You could eat a Snickers bar and a fat free protein shake and it would be healthier than that thing.
