It's supposed to be the smallest 9mm that's also easy to use and easy to control. It got good reviews when it first came out ~2003. Has time been kind to it?

    My personal opinion:

-Have heard various reports on various forums about them jamming although a lot of people claim it to be "the break in period" I wouldn't trust my life to a gun that might still be in "the break in period". No first hand experience with the gun jamming.
-It holds 6 rounds of 9mm. For me I'd rather have a 3-4" (and I do) 1911 that holds 7rounds of .45acp or a .357 snub nose that holds 5 rounds that I know will never jam
-They use a cheap bead blast finish, their frame mouldings are not nearly as precise as Sig, Glock's, HK's, or even Ruger's
    -High price for Keltech quality

+Very small size, I held one at the gun store and it's super light. Definitely better to be carrying that than nothing
+Accurate for a small pistol (from reports I've read)

The bottom line is there are better choices out there for conceal carry. However realize you're taking this advice from a guy who has never conceal carried a day in his life due to shitty CA laws :hsd:

its a decent gun. a number of us here have one. it is very thin and perfectly suited for concealed carry. if fact thats essentially its main purpose. so, are you considering getting a carry permit? even though we're all crazy paranoid whackjobs that are supposedly more likely to shoot ourselves or an innocent person rather than protect ourselves?

Friend had a PM9 and it was still having problems after a few hundred rounds (not yet 500). He traded it for a G16 and lost money.

I am actually thinking about trying to pick up a S&W CS-9 which seems to be in the size range as well.

+1 for the RAMI. Small w/ 10+1 rds of 9mm. A great little shooter out of the box.

My dad has a PM9, it's very picky about ammo and he runs the Federal EFMJ rounds through it because those have no issues.

I've run 147 grain Hornady TAP through my PF-9 with no issues what so ever, and I've only run about 150 FMJ rounds through it since new.

Other than his PM9 having night sites, I prefer mine.

I've got a CW9. Its alright. Still in the "break in" period. I noticed that if I put the mag in and pull the slide back, it'll jam most of the time to load a round into the chamber. But if I have the slide locked back, then put the mag in and hit the release, it'll load the round just fine. I dunno if its supposed to be loaded that way or the "break in" period hasn't been broke in long enough.

I have an early S/N PM9 and it's great. It shoots 100% until it gets ~600 rds in a day dirty, then occasional FTE. Will I ever shoot 600 rds in a row? Nope, if I'm shooting that much, I'll have time to get a rifle.

It is more difficult to shoot good compared to other pistols, but it carries VERY nice and the fit/finish is great. Lots of comparisons to Kel-tecs. I look at my Kahr as what Kel-tec would be if they added ~6 hrs/gun of fit/finish work to what they sell now.

Also, Dottie @ Kahr is excellent for parts/repair. They will occasionally update parts and she'll send them out free of charge with just a call.

I never expressed that opinion about WMD, only my distaste for people whom that opinion accurately describes.

    Anyway, yes I'm considering it.

What are you talking about?? The PM9 has tritium locators! (which cost $5 apiece, unless you buy them from Kahr, in which case they cost 5x as much.)

I'm not sure what you're saying about the PF9. Do you think it's better, or just less-expensive for the same quality?

Kids in middle school are all sociopaths, it's just a phase everyone goes through.

Hmm. That CZ Rami 2075 looks like a nice little piece. Good machining work. Quite a bit heavier than the PM9 is, though.

It can fire 9mm or .40? Are those two calibers just that close in size, or is something else going on?

You buy it in either 9mm or .40. It doesn't shoot both.

i have a CW9 and like i've posted before i have had zero issues with it - even during the "break in period". i've put about 300-400 flawless rounds downrange.
