I had an ex in the Air Force, and she told me that in tech school, the PJ's (Yeah, I know, stupid ass acronym - but they're badass) had to do 10 pullups or something like that everytime they went through a doorway.

What confuses me is how military stuff is so often like this - daily, hard physical exhertion. A lot of these people end up fit and strong as hell. How does this work when it's supposed to take a few days of rest for hypertrophy to occur? :dunno:

    .

my friend (lanceuppercut on here) is in the army and they can lift on base but they're only given a certain amount of food, so the only way they can 'bulk' is to buy extra food.

  7. Why would you want to be huge when in the armed forces anyways? So you can be a bigger target?

I'm doing ROTC btw and I find it harder for me to get bigger due to how much we run and situps and pushups and endurance stuff. Honestly I'm not very sore after doing most of the stuff we do.

Edit: Except that 12 mile ruckmarch I did lol

PJ's are kick ass....that what i would LOVE to do, but i dont think id be able to pass the swim portion and I dont want to get stuck in the AF (no offence to any AF ppl here...just not my thing). so i'm going the jarhead route (cept Im applying to be an officer)

Because people in the military dont need to squat 800lbs, they need to be in good shape and that kind of shit. Thats why they mostly do bodyweight and endurance related stuff.

  11. I was going to do the Marine Corps route and do PLC and then their other OCS stuff but I decided to go Army ROTC instead. Good luck.

Not to change the subject, but merely extrapolate, how are the guys in prisons so stereotypically huge?
