I use a slightly older version of Synk. I have it scheduled to back my machine up at night onto an external drive, then with Applescript, mount my wife's machine over afp, and then back her's up to that drive as well. So far so good, but I'm curious if there's anything better out there at the moment (forget about Time Machine for now).

When you get .mac you can download a program called Backup at no extra cost. in that you can schedule backups to external hd's or your idisk

i do my home folder to my external hd

and my other little stuff to .mac

I do it bc I'm at school and I don't have to carry around a flash drive anywhere.

I can also use it to back up all my schoolwork. Don't want to lose all that. :wtc:

It's expensive webspace, but its just convenient.

I also have it automatically update my top 50 most played songs on there so if im in the library on a computer in there i always have some music w me. :coolugh:

Shiyat. With that attitude you're well on your way to losing all your data.
