Find the application, drag it to trash, empty trash.

You may want to search for the name of the app using Spotlight to help find any config files, prefs, etc. that may otherwise get left behind.

Let's back up to the part where he messed up installing a graphics card.

    What happened?

brother is installing an AJP graphics card (I think that's what it's called anyway) and he doesn't think the card is taking any effect so he wants to reinstall it.

    AGP.

So long as it's one of the 2 cards the G5 came with there should be no software to install. It should recognize it automatically.

download appzapper and drag your programs into that instead of the trash...
it'll find all the config files and anything else the program installed...
    then you can delete everything...
    it's a tiny little 700k program...a must have...

thanks but i think it's too late for that now...

whenever we reboot or turn the apple on now, there's a blinking globe, then it eventually blinks "?" and an eye icon. :wtf: I waited like 20 minutes and it eventually loaded up to my Apple desktop. :ugh:

Because its looking for a network startup drive.

Go to system preferences, then startup drive, then select the OS, NOT A NETWORK DRIVE.
