How do you take your creatine? v.ON

    Just got some ON creatine, gonna try this instead of purecee. Purecee had easy directions - take 1 capsule for every 40lb you weigh before workout. Now I get this Optimum Nutrition creatine powder with these directions:



    They want me to take this every day, even on non-workout days?

    fuck loading

    i know i probably can only absorb 3 g a day or whatever but who cares, mono is cheap

    i take 5g pre workout in some sugary cold coffee

    i take 5 g post workout mixed in a gallon of crystal light that i drink thru the day

    oh and i take 5g on non workout days as well (every day is workout day if you count abs and cardio)

    that 20 - 25 g a day "loading" phase is bullshit your body can only absorb so much creatine in a day and that amount sure as shit isn't 20-25grams

    a sugar drink will be best for your creatine mono consumption imo

    It's where you saturate your muscles with creatine in the first few weeks and then take regular doses there after. Most studies show no need to load.

    Oh ok.. well it can't hurt, you can't OD on 25g of mono.. and like you said its cheap so who cares.

    So I'll take 5g of this crap 60 minutes before working out, thanks!

    have fun beeing bloated with 10lbs of extra water weight! it really isn't needed though, unless you really wanna just do it anyways
