A&P how do you take photos like this...

    trial and error with angles?

    Photoshop was my first reaction... but I didn't want to put myself out on a limb incase we have some tricky maths person here who could figure out some magical angles needed to get this shot :hs:

    Acutally, now that I look at it properly, ignore the reflection, and think about the angle of the shot in relation to the back of the woman.

    The photo was taken ABOVE her head, and with zoom, possibly quite some distance back, which places the camera higher, whilst keeping the same downward angle that the shot was taken at.

    Now look at the reflection, and you can see that you can't see much above her head, where the camera would be, so IMHO, that's one way the photo could have been taken :big grin:

    by being at a slight angle 15 feet away. you wouldn't be in the pic due to the angle

    Typesdragon nailed it. Also using a telephoto lens helps because of the narrow field of view.
