you know someone else is going to ask, got a short synopsis of what youre saying? :o

I do the same as Maine, stretch out whatever body part I'm doing, do some slow lightweight reps and exaggerate the motion of the exercise.

Also I started stretching out my spine after every workout, just trying to hang from the bar for 30secs-minute. Feels really good and go-go grip strength:bigthumb:

some interesting "speed and agility" workouts ... http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/bbinfo.php?page=SpeedAndAgility

I guess I had Maine on the mind ... but I was reading tek's post up there

That DVD looks interesting (from the cover)... I enjoy stretching and am surprised that Im the only one at my gym who does any kind of stretch warm up

I'm also one of the very few at my gym who stretches... then again I squat 3 days a week and noone at my gym does that. I do alot of leg stretches that I always did when I ran track and hurdles every day, and a few (less) arm stretches here and there.

I'm more of a fan of pronated supine chest supported pin pull extensions (from blocks)

I don't stretch pre-weights or running. Stretch after.

i like to stretch RIGHT BEFORE a set... 25% of the weight or so, go through the motions slowly

Warm up with jumping jacks, "around the world" type arm movements in circles both ways, light jumping, lunges, punching bag, etc. all this type of stuff to get nice and warmed up.

Stretch each muscle at least once, hold stretch for 20-30 seconds. Some muscles get multiple stretches (especially delts, I do one stretch for each part).

If I feel like after doing my first set of an exercise that I didn't stretch adequately I do it again, or do a new stretch for that muscle/group.

After working out I sometimes feel too tired to stretch right away, so I'll just stay standing for 5 mins or so, when I feel slightly recovered I'll repeat the warm ups but not quite as extensively as before, do some punching bag, then stretch out all over again.

i know a good amount of people that didnt do them and their joints went to hell. part of their rehab is to do them. I'd say no credibility

If I'm squatting, I will stretch my pecs and shoulders to allow for better bar placement.

I also stretch my hips pre and post squatting.

As for benching, I stretch my lower back before I bench to allow for arching.
