Just curious how everyone else keeps there, no children in my house my SAR1 stays outside of the safe with a 30 round mag in it chamber clear, mossberg under the bed chamber clear just need to rack it, P99 usually on my desk full mag and 1 in the pipe, glock17 in drawer full mag 1 in the pipe, all my rifles in the safe have full mags but clear chamber, except bolt guns there totaly unloaded. handguns are all loaded with one in the chamber.

    I've don't have any kids.

Rifles are in the gun safe, unloaded.
Mossberg propped up next to the bed, Cruiser Ready.
1911, Condition 1 on nightstand or between the boxframe and mattress.
P99, Condition 2, on my desk.
PT92, Condition 1, in a small lockbox in the closet right next to the door leading into the garage.
S&W Airweight .38Spl loaded on nightstand next to my GF's side of the bed.

    And that's about it.

Remington 870 standing in the closet with a cable gun lock on it
Mossburg 42- trigger lock standing in same spot
10/22- just a stock and barrel, same spot, no real danger behids swift hits

Ammo under the bed. I like having them locked, plus it makes my parents feel safer

at christmas or after im getting a nice 2 shotgun/rifle locking case for the 42 (until i get the 10/22) and the remi.

As I aquire more guns and get a permanent residence, i will probably get a safe.

    I have a 2yo daughter.

my XD40 stays locked in a pistol safe in my nightstand - magazine is loaded by out of the gun (condition 4), and my 45 revolver has a cable lock run through the cylinders and put in my range bag on the top shelf of the closet.

My AR-15 I have already bought a lockable rifle case.

My goal is to get a big safe to put the rifle and revolver in.

Sweet 16: Unloaded on a shelf in the closet, no ammo in the house for this gun (given to me by my grandfather, too pretty to shoot)

Remington 870: 8 shells in the tube, one in the chamber, safety on behind the bedroom door

G19: Condition 1 in my CTAC holster on the 2nd shelf of my nightstand, the one farthest from the door. with a spare magazine right next to it.

    I live alone.

Ruger 10/22 Autoloader is in a chest located in the living room with it's 25 round clip.

Winchester 12 gauge shotgun is always near my bed, with 5 OO buck shot shells on the top of my bookcase 5 feet away.

All my handguns in the safe have full mags with empty chambers. My 1911 is usally in my nightstand if I'm not carrying it. Next to the bed my pistol safe has 2 or 3 pistols that are in carry/BUG rotation. Also an 870 mag loaded/chamber empty next to the bed.

If I'm gone they're in the safe. If I'm at home, the safe is unlocked usually with at least 1 quite accessable. No kids, just don't like having them out.
