how long have comics been around? the hundreds of dollars people spend on 30 some odd pages of ink and color and they store them in plastic bags and put them in a fucking cardboard box! :ugh2:

where the hell are the heavy assed wooden, drawer cabinets! :(

that was going to be my next post, i don't want to build something like that. i was the kid that turned the tablesaw on at full rpms in shop class and threw the wooden door stops in the blade to watch them go flying.

i'd rather pay someone to do this, but seriously....someone could fucking bank off of a decent design. we can't be the only one's that think this.

:werd: I'm pretty good with wood. :naughty:

I could easily do metal, that's what I do for a living, metal fabrication, but it would be either A) heavy as hell, or B) really light, but insanely expensive. Wood would be a nice middle ground.

my best friend's dad is a wood-worker, i've talked to him about this and he said he'd look into it.

the only problem would be the weight with multiple drawers, pull it out too far and the damned thing is likely to tilt over on you.

but really, who cares...anything beats having a shitload of white boxes on the floor :o

I almost welded a waterproof case for my comics, but when I realized it'd have to be 5ft tall and 3ft wide, I said fug it.
