And dont say with just mustard because thats not very tasty. Any of you guys make a kick ass tuna salad? The ones that comes in a package with crackers is good, but its too little and too expensive.

I love the Pur Diet recipe. Rice + Tuna + Italian Dressing or Honey Mustard Dressing = Win.

My usual tuna salad is not as healthy, but it is as follows:

    2 Cans Tuna
    2-3 Tbs Miracle Whip
    2-3 Tbs Sweet Relish
    1-2 Hard boiled eggs, diced
    1/2 c celery for crunch/texture
1-2 squirts of mustard if feeling sassy

I actually do use just mustard :hs:

sometimes i'll throw onions, mushrooms, or peppers in there too :dunno:

I use white albacore though, not tuna.

when did albacore leave the tuna family?

I like to use a little miracle whip and some mustard and relish. Put it on some brown rice and it's delicious to me

    usually out of the can...but

2 cans tuna, a cup of cooked rice (50/50 mix white/brown), half an avocado, tbsp olive oil

2 cans of tuna, tbsp of mayo, dill weed (i go heavy), chopped chives/celery... stick a claussen pickle in it and grab a handful of crackers or chips and you are good to go.

I open the can, drain the water. Scoop some salsa in there, mix it in/chop the tuna up, and scoop it out onto chips, or just straight.

If you want. Miracle Whip actually isn't too horrible for you. It's sure as hell better than mayo. :ugh:

And as to the albacore vs. light tuna discussion, albacore allegedly has a higher mercury concentration. I know that topic has been beaten to death, but if you're eating a lot of tuna, you might as well go with the one that supposedly has less mercury but basically otherwise the same nutritional value... Just my 2 cents.
