I'm sure we all have our systems. Recently my laundry list of what I have watched was deleted FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I use notepad and classify everything into lists. I don't have enough memory to keep everything I download. So, I have to have a system to do it.

I have a hdd full of anime and each series has it's own folder where the episodes are numbered (and named) and they go in there. When I finish watching an episode I drag it off my primary hard drive, name the file what I want it to be, and then delete it off my primary.

    This.

Though for me I leave everything in the torrent folder till I watch it, then move it to the archive folder (different HDD). Then when I'm done watching the series, I put it into the "Completed" folder.

all completed shows are burned onto dvds
even if they dont fit into one the extras still get their own

each series/world/universe in its parent folder followed by sub folders with original file/folder names on my pc
if i want to i archive on external hdd but keep folders and just delete files

    eg:
    Eureka Seven
    -[Nanashi]_Eureka_seveN
    -Nipponsei Eureka Seven OST
    Full Metal Alchemist
    -[Anbu_Keep]_FMA_1-51
    -[KAA]_FMA_Conquerer_of_Shambala
    -[ShinsenSubs]_FMA_Brotherhood

    etc

Alphabetically by title, within folder by season. I delete rip group tags from the filenames.

Separate drive for anime, divided into 3 directories: Finished, In Progress, and Need to Watch. Within each dir would be a folder for an individual series (FMA, 07 Ghost, etc.) , inside that it's broken down by season, eps inside renamed <Series titles><ep #>.

this. I don't really bother deleting stuff since I only d/l 2 or 3 episodes before deciding whether to continue or drop it.

I burn (if it's worth keeping) and then delete after they're watched. Trouble is I tend to download faster than I can watch or drops shows before I finish them because they don't hold my attention and the unfinished portions just sit on the computers.

you should make a myanimelist.net account, im sure it'd beat using a notepad to catalog what you have watched/ rated

I vote on it at anidb and store my list. That way I know what I watched, how I rated it and which sub group to go to if I ever want to rewatch it. I've only rewatched 1 or 2 animes so storing it is retarded.

Hrm, maybe i should start using a system instead of watching the same episode of an anime 3 times in a row on 3 seperate days.
