If I want to archive my sent messages from my mail and save them in a folder (which I would burn to disc for keeps), how would it be done?

I have messages from august 2006 forward to now I need to keep for my business.

    Thanks :)

Since my business emails are forwarded from my domain to here, I can easier leave what I wish on the mail program than I can go through all the spam and real mail in the online inbox for the domain.

So I wait a few months and stick what I decided to keep to disk :)
