b/c i have a bunch
same way I prepare ground beef
dirty rice, sloppy joes, or hamburger helper
chili seasoning and lemon works wonders.
i just made mine with some ground chilli powder, a little bit of mexican blend cheese and some franks buffalo wing sauce. fuckin BOMB
sloppy joe mix, taco mix , throw that shit in some chili, patties. anything you cook with beef you can do turkey
I just brown that shit (jonno style)
i make burritos/tacos with those mothers. Add some guac/salsa/cheese/veggies FUCK!
make it into chili
1 lb lean turkey meat
cook on medium heat until browned
few shakes of chili powder, garlic salt, onion salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper while cooking
once everything looks cooked, add in can of Ro-Tel chilies and diced tomatoes, turn on high and let water boil off a bit, and you are good to go.
decent macros with that meal. mainly protein, some fat and few carbs. lasts 3-4 servings
i suddenly have the urge to go to the store and buy some ground turkey
I just ate some with some whole grain pasta and a little tomato sauce.
taco sauce cheese tomatoes lettuce taco shells
me too sounds fuckin delicious right now
Make a couple of patties, frying pan, pound 'em.
i used to cook the turkey up in a skillet then put it in a tupperware container still hot, add shredded cheese, eat it.
it's called "Turkey Surprise"
because some eats it and you say "SURPRISE! it's just turkey and cheese."
i make quick chili out of mine. Not sure how healthy it is, but it's good.
But then I started making it with beef again and stopped buying ground turkey.
sometimes i buy the hormel vegetarian chili and throw a shit ton of turkey and hot sauce in it. not too bad.
that is getting done ....
i make turkey burgers
1lb extra lean ground turkey
1 large egg
1/2 white onion, finely diced
parsley, finely chopped
buncha no salt broiling spices from trader joes
a bit of worschester sauce for salt
make into patties and grill them bitches up. they're dry, but good macros and the taste is very tolerable.
pan fry (no oil added) with onion powder, garlic salt, black pepper, and some chef paul's magic salmon seasoning...add in green beans when it's browned, sometimes peppers too.
2lbs ground turkey
2 slices of bread, cut into cubes
1/4 cup chopped green onion
