Thinking of getting one for my 16" AR, I've got a red dot on it now and wouldn't mind a little more range out of it. Never used one, so I'm not sure what to expect, other than 3x. :coolugh:

I just bought a Bushnell 4200 1.25-4x24 E dot scope. Put 200 rounds through with it - thing fucking rocks.

Are you going to buy a shitty one?

Can you shoot the maximum range of your current optic?

Are you going to get a decent mount for it?

these are all questions you need to ask yourself

Is Larue the only company that makes the flip out mount?

I have a clone 3X and i don't like it. The tint is yellow, and it's not as clear as my ACOG.

    Probably 85% as a clear?

Anyway, have it on a real deal Larue flip mount. I'll sell it to ya for the cost of just the mount if ya wanted.

Seriously, did you just compare a clone 3x to an ACOG? :ugh::ugh:

My $150 hunting scope by Vortex has about the same clarity and crispness as an ACOG, just thought the ACOG would be a quicker comparison.

The price of the ACOG is due to the durability and engineering of the sight primarily IMHO. Trijicon tells you to wipe off the lens with whatever in the manual.
