1 DVD per series. If it goes over, I don't burn anything else on it. I know it's wasteful but I like to keep my series in alphabetical order.

Takes way too long when you sometimes just need it for a screenshot or something. :o Torrents also tend to die out so it's not really safe to do that. :o

I don't like burning it as my only copy, my disks don't tend to last very long before read errors start occuring. So I've got my (small in comparison around here) collection saved on my hd.

I try to burn one series onto 1 DVD. If it is a short series, then I try to cram in two onto one DVD. If one series don't fit on 1 dvd, then I put the left over onto another DVD and try to fill that 2nd dvd with another series.

I don't really worry about alphabetizing. When I'm free I'm going to augment my list of anime with what DVD stacks they're in.

I also have a bunch of anime on CDR's which I want to convert to DVDs.

    Raising this thread again...

So, I got tired of burning DVDs an episode at a time (I'm running Cheetah 15K SCSI for speed, but drives are small).

I just ordered one of these yesterday with 4 x 250GB Barracuda ES SATA drives. Running X-RAID (RAID 5 mode), I'm expecting around 650GB usable. When the 1TB SATA drives come out and come down in price, I can upgrade by replacing one by one and it handles it all without downtime. :coold:

Also ordered two UPSs for my PC and new NAS:
