I need to make them thicker
flexors and extensors....grab a straight bar or dumbells and curl them with your wrists in both directions. Some might say thats bad for your wrists though. I've been doing it for at least 4 years now and had no problems.
But what about my left?
Would it be better to go up and down or side to side?
Grab a top heavy object at the light end and move your wrist side to side.
I have to use my biceps to wackit thats why its wasnt the first reply. Why do you think my Bi's are so big?
what I do when I use a dumbell is rest my arm on my knee so its parralel and with my palms up, go down up and after 8-10 flip my wrist over, palms down, up....down for 8-10 more and switch hands.
you can't make your wrist significantly thicker through exersize. There is little muscle there.
