Shit is disgusting....do you eat it with anything else?

Nah. To answer your question, because it's good for our bodies. Cottage cheese is low in calories, somewhat low in carbs, and high in protein. It's made up of casein protein, which takes a long time to digest, making it a great food to consume before going to bed...
I don't eat it anymore. I just eat chicken/steak or scoop of whey before bed. Stronger now and less bloat than doing cottage cheese everynight. I think all that needing nighttime protein shit is bs.
If you're cutting, I wouldn't think it is..
Used to have to add salt/pepper to it, now I just eat it as fast as possible.
it's not so bad when you're eating it with a fruit. i'll eat a banana and between every bite i'll take a nice spoonful of cottage cheese. or you could make a protein shake using choco powder + banana + cottage cheese and maybe PB and you won't even taste the cheese
frozen blueberries, any strong tasting fruit will mask the taste pretty well
dairy does cause water retention...i can tell a difference within a day or two of addinig dairy back in...
I usually just add cracked pepper. I'm with Frank though, some days it's good, some days not so much.
Blend it with a little whey and ice.
I've mixed it with a scoop of choc protein powder and a tbsp peanut butter then stuck it in the freezer for like a half an hour. Kinda like ice cream. Well not really.
plain. IMO the type that you get makes the biggest difference. Breakstones 2% is good, but 4% is too milky and weird tasting. Walmart's 1% is good, all the others are too milky or dry
I hate small curd. Salt and pepper is the only way I eat it. I can't imagine putting fruity shit in it.
i was eating cottage cheese before bed for a while but i'm thinking of just downing a casein shake instead
my favorite is with canned fruit or fresh strawberries.
