I've recently put a scope on my 30-06 and in process removing the old iron sights. The rear sight came off easy enough, but the front sight is being a stubborn bastard, I've been constantly applying PBblaster for a day now and I've going to keep it up for a couple more and I've been giving it loving little taps with a hammer and screw driver. If this doesn't work if after a few days I am thinking heating the screw (or should it be the surronding area?) most likely with a soldering iron (though I could also get a pencil tourch I suppose) anyone ever done this before?

other than PBblaster and tapping the booger what do you guys reccomend, surely someone has come across the problem before and might have some tips.
