A&P how do you "combine" images in post processing?

    i hear a lot of people talk about taking the same shot twice with two different exposures, and then combining them but i'm not sure what exactly that entails!

    If you're talking about the HDR effect, there are tons of links describing it. Google. Here's a simple PS action that will work with 2 pics at different exposures:
