Based on your face shape, I know....is there a good site to read about this?

or better, a place to upload your face pic and try different frames

    Try them all on.

The eye sales people annoy me though, I just want to walk around and pick out the styles I like, not be handed 20 pairs of glasses that in their opinion relate, which, 90% of the time don't.

i dated an optometry student before, and she said that there's this program that matches types of glasses that are flattering to your face, but it's ridiculously expensive :o

i gotta pick up another pair of glasses. i've been shopping with some friends to get 2nd, 3rd, and 4th opinions, and i finally found the ones i want :hs:

upload a pic of your face and let us decide

    asking for a face pic...that's evil :o

    Ok I'll do it

    face

    http://uploader.ws/upload/200706/IMG_4891Medium.jpg

I already tried this a framesdirect

    http://uploader.ws/upload/200706/frames1.jpg

noticed that round and oval frames won't match my oval face, apparently I have to pick contrasting ones and square ones work best, I also like that shape...rimless are out of the question, too nerdy looking.

    CK:

    http://uploader.ws/upload/200706/ckframes.jpg

    Emporio Armani: round-ish, not good

    http://uploader.ws/upload/200706/emporioarmaniframes.jpg

    Kenneth Cole: so so

    http://uploader.ws/upload/200706/kennethcoleframes.jpg

    Oakley rimless:... hmmm...dunno

    http://uploader.ws/upload/200706/oakleyrimlessframes.jpg

I tried the Square wire ones but they are too big and look stupid, maybe when I go try them at the store they have a smaller size :dunno:

Tommy hilfiger: not bad, I like those

    http://uploader.ws/upload/200706/thframes.jpg

I'll have better luck at the store I guess...now I know I'll spend between $80 and $140 on the frames...how much should I expect for the prescription cristals? :dunno:

    Go ahead :eek3:

i kinda like the kenneth coles on you. the rimless ones don't look too bad either (though i'm usually not a fan of them)

at least in the pic, the TH ones look too big

BTW, what's your purpose of these glasses? are you going to wear them all the time, or just whenever you take out your contacts, or just for reading/driving...?

    reading / computer

yeah I know sometimes those wbesites don't have all sizes and that's important, I just need to weed out the styles I don't like so the process is easier at the store
