I own an online business, work in health care, and do consulting. Whenever an opportunity arises I go for it.

I'm 19 turning 20 not really worried about money too much :dunno:

My cars aren't expensive (VW's :mamoru: ) but I have alot of them.

Since I was 14, i've basically spent most of my disposable income on my cars. They're kind of like my girlfriends. I spend all my time and money on them, and in return, they give me nothing but grief. :Owned:

    24 - '83 Volvo 242 - my cost originally 6 years ago $3500. Then you throw in $20k in mods/upgrades

    Job: IT bitch

Salary: enough for all my bills and then some for toys. Not enough to buy a house in Northern VA though

Most of the "kids" i know that have nice cars either got their parents to make the downpayment, or still live at home (read: free rent) while they're working a real job and have lots of money to spend

    Military, pretty low-ranking

Get paid very well to live overseas, and I don't have to worry about housing expenses.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention what I do and how much I make.

I run www.flatoutperformance.com and no one needs to know how much I make, except me. ;)

    Outright or lease?

If outright, you're doing very well for yourself at only 19... I just hope you haven't overextended yourself at such a nubile age :)

    How's the insurance? ;)

Almost outright. I only financed less than 9k, so it works out for me. I've been making double payments for the last few months so it'll be paid off waaayyyy early.

Insurance is actually 600 bucks cheaper than my GTI was :eek3:

Audi 2001.5 Nogaro S4 w/ 30k mileage. Actually I just purchased this car.

I'm a computer programmer for San Diego County Office of Education.

Salary: only 41k :wtc: after taxes and BS i pocket about 2650$ cash each month. But after putting a 9 thousand dollar down. my payments came out to be like 360$ a month. Insurance full coverage is 240$ a month :wtc: .

Rent is around 600 a month. and utilities and food and gas maybe like 300 a month.

so 600 rent + 600 car + 300 living fee. 1500$ cost of living each month. So I still get like 1150$ cash to put in my savings each month.

What do you guys think? Am I overshooting my budgeting? :noes:

oh yeah and 21years old 22 on the 24th.
and prior to this car, I drove a 1987 Volvo 740i Beater. And prior to that I drove a 2001 Toyota Tacoma prerunner that my dad crashed.

i make around 1200 a month...which isn't bad but w/ insurance on both cars and w/ my 0 interest credit cards about to turn into ones w/ interest the credit cards alone will be about 600...rest is for gas/food
