And if we like it, which one should I use on ten-year-old paint with some swirl marks but no visible oxidization?

I can't tell a difference between Duragloss and Zaino (I have both) so if you like how sealants look (more reflective than deep), then go to CarQuest and get the Duragloss stuff.

that said, some ppl here like Zaino, some ppl don't. I've never used it, don't really care to. I've found many good products that I use.

It isn't so much the product (decent but overpriced) but the people who use it. They are like freaking Amway people or Scientologists. I sure don't want to be thought of as in the same crowd as them.

I have been using Zaino since 2002 and love it. I personally can tell a difference between Duragloss and Zaino so I stick with Zaino. I like to use it on clients cars because regardless of the color it works perfect everytime.

ZAIO, one coat Z2/5 and then Z8 to finish.

I have been using Wolfgang on my car as of late as I like the way it glows.

Ryan-you must have better eyes than me or something because Duragloss and Zaino look identical to me. Even side by side on the same car, neither I nor a couple of my customers could see any difference. :dunno:

Like Mike Phillips says though, "find something you like and use it often".

Best sealant I've used to date.......
    Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant.
Lasts for 4+ months and looks like a carnauba.

    Zaino?
Never used and never will. The owner and it's users killed it for me.

    Freaks.

Justin-is there a new version? I really liked the old one but slickness fell off pretty fast. Still beading 3-4 months though.

What's this nonsense about the owner and the users? It's a wax, not a cult.

Visit the detailing forum on an F-body or Corvette forum. Then you will understand. Or go to http://autopia.org and search out blkZ28conv posts, the guy is the poster child for the Zaino army. Others, like Ryan (Paulie) just happen to like Zaino products and isn't obnoxious about it. Sadly, he is in the minority.

I think I have switched over to Ultima. It lasted from July to about February. For the most part, there was a blizzard almost once a week and I took the car through the car wash about 8 times to get rid of the salt. Thats kinda impressive considering how easy it is to apply it

Even now, my car is still shinning stronger than most cars.

According to Autogeek, a 2.0 version is on it's way. They just updated their Wolfgang polishes (made by Menzerna) so I bet it will be out soon. I did notice that the slickness went away pretty fast but I just topped it with some 476S. Nothings getting through to the paint now!

I'll call you later bro. Sorry I missed your call today!

    All to true.

I can simply polish a car and my customer's think it's already "waxed".

I guess I dont know if I would say better eyes but I have done side by sides and the Zaino looks better to me. It gives a better shine and that hard candy look which I like.

I like it so I use it, I get no kickbacks and have no reason to lie so take my statements for what they are worth. My car has not been washed in 6 weeks so it looks about as bad as it can get right now. Other pressing things to worry about.

I just like what I use thats all. I really liked the NXT 2.0 but I noticed much like the first that its slickness died off quick. Its too bad too because I thought it might be a cheaper Zaino replacement for client cars.

True but I will say Zaino does make an unprepped car look very good and a lot of people look for that that do not have or do not want to take the time to prep like we do
