A&P how do u check how many expsures u've taken?

    ive got a digital rebel and am wondering how u check for the total amount of expsures uve taken. i see them listed on ebay listings so im wondering.

    Can only be done on 1d series, for other models canon have a method of reading it but i dont believe there is any way for a user to do it.

    people on ebay are either making it up, or going by the image number (not reliable.

    ok thanks. kinda sucks. i guess i could guesstimate by looking at number of files and add some for deleted in camera

    hmm im checking some pictures in photoshop and that particular exif camp istn showing for me,..mebe im looking in the wrong place

    you can't look on any modified photo, take a picture, and right click on it and view opanda exif data

    ok I saw it on one of the older photos I had on this laptop, il check a recent one to see how much I really did take with my D70..poor camera is finally falling apart

    the image counter on my 30D has jumped around a few times.. the first time from like 2k to 8k or something. so that is definitely not reliable.

    there has to be some way to get a shutter count on a non-1D, but I haven't heard of one

    Just checked the d70 71228, bought it December of 03

    at this rate the d200 that i've had since april has 22k i'll catch up quite quick
