You need a video capturing device and a computer, and a way to hook them up. Then you either upload the file at putfile, or on your own server.

    How is that false?
DV Camcorder = Video Capturing Device
Firewire = A way to hook the camcorder/computer together.

I dont deal with video much so I cant give specific software - but you will also need some software on your computer if you want to shrink the video files down to a reasonable size - if you want the files in quicktime format (which I dont suggest) you will probably have to purchase quicktime pro or something from apple that will let you "encode" in to that format.

If you want a good resource for this kind of stuff, www.DVDRhelp.com and www.doom9.net are both awesome places to get started - they will guide you step by step on all sorts of endeavors of this nature.

    Good luck!
