Is there an adapter that I can plug into my amp so I can plug it into a wall outlet? I'm bored and I want to plug my car sub into my home theater setup for shits an giggles. (buying a new HT sub in the next week or so anyway, this wouldn't be permanent)

You need a transformer. 120V AC to 12V DC. Probably not worth the price for something temporary.

Yea, I'm thinking so. Besides....anytime I went somewhere I'd have to throw my subs back into my car :o

You can use computer power supplies but dont know what specs you'd need on the PS. jollyroger might know.

If you wanted to run anytype of power through your amp you will be spending big bucks. A normal transformer will not be sufficent to run an amp/sub it will draw too many amps I believe. Just buy a powered sub for like $200 if you want one for your HT setup.

Thats what I am doing with in the next week or two. I just wanted a temporary setup to play with if it wasn't going to cost much.
