One of the recent ones I installed has fucked up my system. Every 5 minutes or so the entire computer will just lock up for a few seconds. It also randomly slows down videos/games, and then lets them go at normal speed again.

I haven't installed anything other than the windows updates within the last month, and this just started a few days ago, and is pissing me off.

    Thanks.

    Windows Desktop Search huh?

Just Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel - just check off the box at the top that says Show Windows updates

The easiest way is to run System Restore to go back to before you installed them, then reinstall them using the Custom Install mode so you can pick through them and read their descriptions.
