First time shooting wine.
That's a pretty cool picture actually
I like it except for whatever is reflecting off of it on the left side above the label I'd probably put it on a grey bg instead
might be a resizing issue (or my screen) but the white lettering looks like it has a halo around it
two words: specular highlights
Thanks. This is one of 3 shots I took real quick to get a feel for what bottles do in my setup.
You have no idea how hard it is to get an even highlight on a bottle. My lightsource was like 3ft by 2ft, less than a foot away and it still got janky. This was just a test shoot but I don't know what I can do to get more control over the highlights.
It's from the jpg conversion.
Rough simplification for the highlight.
I'm being picky...but I find the highlight side of the bottle annoying in that the highlight stops suddenly half way through the label on the bottle.
The label is also 2 different colours because of it.
if that's for advertising I'd rather have a contrast background rather than blending into the background
Sidenote: I just opened it and tried some, shit tastes like rubbing alcohol. First wine I've ever had.
