I know nothing about how to do any of this stuff...

I am using my Macbook, and every time I try to use BOW or Xtorrent, I get knocked off and loose my connection. I use roadrunner, and have a netgear router, connected to my wifes PC upstairs.

Thats about all I know, anyone have any links or ideas about how to fix this???

EDIT: I tried www.portforward, and I am not sure if I did something wrong or not, but that didn't help... Do I do it on mine and my wifes computer?

you need to go into your router settings, and open up whatever ports you use with BoW. In other words, just forward from port x to port x for the IP that your laptop has.

I have a Linksys, and I have to do this under two different menus. Just look around your router settings until you come across port forwarding range.
