Need some help
The easiest way is to do a screen cap lile you would any other app (Alt-PrtSc for windows, PrtSc for the entire screen). But, as you will learn, you'll get a big black box instead of the video. The trick is, you have to go to Control Panel->Display Settings->Advanced->Troubleshooting and turn off hardware acceleration before you do your cap. Remember to turn it back on after you're done. Open up paint, CTRL-V and crop out the player.
There are a few utilities out there that do the same sort of thing, but this is a quick and dirty way of doing it.
If you're using WMP you don't have to turn off hardware accellaration.
WMP v8 and up have a built-in image capture, just push ctrl+i.
I use a program called SnagIt by TechSmith. I dont like the new version because its a totally different skin and they moved everything around. You can do all sorts of things with it.
i have an old version of SnagIt and I love it. Very easy to use.
