So I just downloaded a HD DVD movie from a newsgroup...instead of the normal Video_TS folder you get when you download a regular DVD I got a folder called HVDVD_TS and inside are a bunch of .EVO files.

So does anybody know how to play .EVO files? I've tried every media player I can think of.

    Halp!

Yeah I did....there doesn't seem to be a uniform answer since most of the people seem to be using .evo files for different types of things.

Some people said get Power DVD....I just d/led a copy and have been playing with it for a few mins but can't seem to get it to play w/ that either.

to play it as a folder like it is you need Powerdvd 7.3.3319a and no later. Just open pdvd and shoose open video from hdd and select the main folder.

Or you can make it into an image with imgburn (has to be udf) and play it on the most recent powerdvd after mounting with daemon tools
