How do I open a .daa file?

    Someone I know downloaded the following from Transmission last night

    "The Departed 2006 DvDrip Eng.daa"

    and now wants to open it. What can you use to open a .daa file?

    download the free trial and unpack the .daa file. if you have linux you can download the full app for free

    kinda sucks it's packed in this obscure format

    it's looking like there's not much for the extension at all. your best bet would be to copy it to a thumb drive or external hard drive and bring it to a friend with a windows computer, use that program to unpack it then copy it back over to mac. sorry

    yea but i have parallels. looks like you gotta re-download or bring the file over to a windows machine.

    what kind of mac? do you have boot camp or parallels?

    damn. i've got an iMac running 10.4.6

    and i dont have boot camp or parallels.
