In office 2008 there is supposed to be a feature that you can revert back to office 2004 w/o messing anything up. anyone know how?

Never heard of being to go back to 2004. That's strange. Can't imagine M$ doing something like that. Look at the trouble you have to go through to get XP instead of Vista on a PC these days. I haven't had any issues with 2008 and it runs a hell of a lot faster on my machine then 2004 but then again I'm not running a PowerBook. Good luck.

delete ms office 2008, install 2004. hell you can have both installed at the same time if you're creative, i had both for a short time.

the way you have to do it is when you install 2008. under the install preferences you can tell it not to uninstall 2004. then you go into office 2008 folder in Applications, go to the additional tools folder, then uninstall folder and run the program. it'll find all the installed office programs and you can check that you want to uninstall 2008 and return back to 2004
