diet...and training...abs are nothing more then a bf level and also you do need to train them to get them to pop out.

Dude I dont even know what it is

    ok here's my day

I woke up and came to work, luchroom has oatmeal.. so I put good chunk in a bowl, put some raisans and some brown sugar in it for some taste, I dont know if I could handle it without brown sugar.

Anyway, first 15 minute break I get.. I go get some peaches and some cottage cheese.. I dont eat that much of this, maybe 6 peach slices and a half a cup of cottage cheese.

Lunch I go to the lunchroom, grab a chicken breasts and usually have some chicken noodle soup (I cut the chicken up and have extra chicken noodle soup basically).

Then I have a protien energy bar before jiujitsu after work, then, I go home and have some ramen noodle with some chicken in it or something

    yeah I know

I took a Psychology class a while back that discussed REM/non-REM sleep cycles and one of the things we talked about is how the average working man/women experiences a "crash" point in the middle of their day. This happens at a time that is dependent upon when you wake up for but for 99% of people it happens between 1-3pm.

I forget exactly why this happens, but I distinctly remember it having nothing to do with diet/exercise, but was just how the body works. If you wait it out, it usually goes away after an hour or so.

The best way to combate this feeling is to take a nap that last anywhere between 20-30min. There is a lot of research happening on this now, and in many countries they now have "nap" time for workers about 1-2 hours after lunch where they nap for 25min. This not only increases productivity, but also increases cardiovascular functions in the employee's leading to less stress and less risk of heart attack/heart disease.

Edit * A few U.S. companies are now adopting this process since it is working out so well in some European countries. Japan has been doing it for a couple years now with some of the bigger corporations that have people working more than 10 hours a day.
If you get an hour lunch at work, try eating quickly (20min) and then get in a 20-25min nap. It might help out more than you think.

Hey buddy... I said 20-30min. If you're napping for an hour then you are most certainly lazy!
