How do I get rid of my skinney little shoulders! UGH

    After 2 months of working out, i'm FINNALLY starting to "show" :rolleyes: even considering how skinney i am. I need to get rid of my flat shoulders, what excercizes will isolate those muscles the most? Recommend reps and weight... :x:

    to me it looks like you need to work your back more to add some thickness there, and get your traps bigger as well.

    Yeah, back and trap development has been slow, but i've been working them each 1 day a week. I may start doing my back twice a week, including it in my tricep workout. I am at the gym 5-6 days a week currently. I'm on No-Xplode and ~4700-5200 calories a day, with about 150g of protein daily

    thats alot of cals with not so much protein, i get around 150 grams in about half of that, sometimes more dpending on how many shakes i have

    5000 calorie intake daily is actually quite a bit.. Unless you're insinuating that i'm skinney, which I already know. :hs:

    I'm trying to gain weight as well. A little fat on me wouldnt even come close to hurting me. About 60-75g of protein per day come from shakes.

    I do a lot of overhead stuff which has contributed to my shoulder growth. :dunno: Something to think about.

    You haven't really included what your routine is like. Maybe your workouts are inefficient?

    Do you only eat sugar, mayonaise and protein shakes? I can't imagine how you can eat that much and only be getting 150g of protien.

    Do you mean shoulders or traps? If you mean shoulders:

    BB Clean & Press
    DB Lateral Raises
    Push press

    If you mean traps...do some upright rows, shrugs, deadlifts etc. And on top of all of that, make sure you are doing seated military press/arnold press.

    how long have you been maintaining that caloric intake? seems pretty high to be not gaining weight

    also give it more time, 2 months is not that long atall

    Lets see an example of this 5k a day calorie diet. If you're not gaining weight, my honest guess is that you're not eating anywhere near 5k calories. You are skinny. You need to put on mass overall to make your shoulders look thicker.

    5000 calories and you;'re only getting 75g of protein from food? wtf are you eating.

    and after 2 months of working out, I wouldnt worry about any specific bodypart

    5000 is an aproximation like I said, it's hard to get an exact intake when you're eating out... I have gained weight, about 6-7 lbs..
