A&P How Do I Find The Shutter Count?

    I have a Canon 30D and I want to list it on ebay and Im diggin through the menus and where can I find the total shutter clicks? Thanks!

    It's in the metadata.

    there is no sure way to get a shutter count off of a canon unless its a 1d series.

    You can do it in Raw and a hex editor, but it is not very accurate +-1000 actuations

    Only true way is with a 1d series and take it to a CPS or Canon Service Centre.

    how do you see the metadata in a mac without having to load the pic in iphoto or lightroom?

    you don't have to take a 1d series in to find it ;)

    download EXIF Viewer...it has it there too!
