I have a wireless internet connection that I am trying to connect to with my lap top.

I can't remember what password I entered when first setting up this network a year ago.

Where do I find the password?

Router's Control panel. Look at your default gateway from your network properties via a ethernet cable, log in and look at wireless security

Plug in a ethernet cable to the computer. Plug it into the router. Go to Control panel, Network Connections, left hand side click on manage connections, double click the connection, look at the details. note default gateway

    browse to this http://192.168.xx.xx

Pop up will ask for a login and pass usually admin or administrator with pass or password or just a blank.

If you can't get thru all this just simply hard reset it and start over
