how do I find out how much space I have available?

    Mac newb question...

    If I have an 80 Gig HD how do I find out what I have available?

    Hit the Macintosh HD icon and keep the mouse button pushed. Then, hit CTRL, and then "get info" from the menu.

    or easier: just double click macintosh HD, at the botton there should be listed the avaliable space.

    to make a post all you have to do is type in your text and then hit ctrl+s
