how do i convert FAT32 to NTFS but with 4K sized clusters ?

    need a tutorial to get this done in the best way. thanks guy(s)
    please include info about defraging afterwards and whatever else needs to be done as well as resetting the volume serial number

    cant find much regarding 4k clusters and what program to use, boot disk, etc

    i tried it with bootitng and made a boot cd. for some reason it coudlnt detect any fat32 drives...

    the site says that the default is 512 bytes if im reading correct. and it says to use bootitng and make a bootup disk... so im kinda confused. care to explain. thanks

    No, it doesn't say the default is 512B. It says 512B is the failsafe in case the clusters aren't already aligned to 4kB divisions -- which, if the FAT32 drive was formatted by a Windows NT machine, they will be.

    how do i double check to make sure. i got my notebook recently from portableone.com dunno if you know it. its an asus
