So my lotus is Mill finish aluminium. It gets dirty spots and I cant find anything to clean it. I do not want to polish it so it rules out most chemicals i have around.

Does anyone know of anything that wil just clean? not polish mill finish ?

You do need to polish it out. Other than that, I don't really know an effective way to clean it. I know it isn't stainless steel, but maybe there is a DeLoren forum that has a suggestion.

Delorean's can take scratches out with steel wool but remember that they are made of aluminum. I am not sure that your vehicle will react as favorably. Would I do use steel wool if it was mine? You bet. Should you? I have no idea and I say as anything on the internet try it at your own risk. Good luck and good looking car.

try finding a quality metal fabrication shop in your area and they may have a suggestion. other than that, you can always do the try a hidden area on the car thing with different products. Starting with the mildest you can find.
