With all this talk of compact pistols, limitless mags, girls and warm weather, I've become increasingly interested in moving to the US. That said, how difficult is it to become a citizen? At the very least, to have the right to own a house and purchase firearms?

Not quite sure how difficult it is to become a citizen, but I'm pretty sure you can own a firearm while being a legal alien, just has to due with the visa you're issued. Not entirely sure, you could probably browse www.atf.gov to find some answers.

Nice, 3 months of residency later and I can be  too. Now I just need to have a fruitful 3-4 years and luck finding a good place in Tx or Az and I'm set.

I think you have to live here for 5 or 10 years before you can become a citizen. Then pass some test or something. Not really too sure, but I'm sure google will tell you.
