How did I lose almost 10lbs over spring break?

    :wtf: I take a week off the gym, counting calories and making sure I eat over 3500 calories/day and I lose 8 lbs.

    Before I left for spring break I weighed in at 166lbs, today I weighed myself fully clothed at 158, wtf happened? I fucking hate my metabolism :wtc:

    I dont think ill be able to make it to 180 before this semester is over and I'm starting to doubt whether or not I'll ever make it to the 200 club.

    were you more active during the break? burning more calories than you normally do?

    not really I had one day where I went to Busch Gardens and walked around all day and another day where i was fishing all day but other than that i just relaxed.

    And seriously, 8 pounds in a week..sounds like you have some water fluctuations going on. If you were really eating and not working out, I very much doubt you dropped 8 pounds of muscle in that short of a time.

    make sure the scale is correct, i can't see you losing that much weight in only a week.

    cant get enough calories unless im counting

    ill end up eating like 2000 calories a day if i dont count, when im counting im constantly reminding myself to eat

    conversely, if i don't count, i'll eat over my maintenance. When i'm counting I'm constantly reminding myself to be in a deficit.

    I could probably get away without counting now as I pretty much eat the same thing every day...but I like to have it recorded so I can look back and see what I did right/wrong.
