how come weight doesn't go to other places other than my stomach?

    i was only 120 lbs 3 months ago, so i decided to eat more a day to gain some weight... i succeeded and now im 130.. but all the weight has gone to my stomach and face, the two worst places possible

    when i discovered that i was getting fat, i stopped my fat diet, and now i've just given up on trying to get bigger

    my arms and legs are twigs, but now my stomach is fat

    how do i fix this?

    I'm assuming you are lifting as well right?

    What does your program look like?

    If not just give up.

    Because if not, 130 is 60 pounds short of anything possibly considered fat.

    why do people always rag on my topics? i don't think they understand that im 5'7" and a very small guy

    I have very deep insecurities and problem because of my looks, and I want to fix them, so be a bit nicer.

    I didn't do much lifting because I'm poor, and the only thing I have are 10lbs and 20 lbs dumbells. I can't afford to go the gym at all. I'm doing a few different type of lifts with them that only work out my biceps, triceps, and traps.

    I don't really need muscle though, I'd just like to have some type of weight on my legs and arms that would make me look more like I exist.

    There's no way it should be fat, but all the weight goes to my stomach.

    I have the skinniest arms and legs ever.

    aside from the 'you can't be fat' argument, your answer is right there. you need to be exercising for the weight to build up on your whole body. just eating a shitload and doing some 10lb curls isnt going to do shit - just put on fat.

    i'm 18, so what other type of excersizes can i do that won't cost me money?

    pullups, chinups, situps/crunches, pushup variations - diamond, wide grip, hand out infront, etc.


    but dude... you can join lots of hole-in-the-wall gyms for very cheap

    get a paper route or something

    Get a job, get a gym membership. You're going to put on muscle or fat, and you'll only put on muscle by putting your muscles under enough stress to need to grow.

    i'm 5'7 also, and 190-195 lbs.

    your midsection, face, and lower back and the most common areas for men to hold fat, so this is normal.

    don't take this the wrong way but you sound like a bit of a pussy. if you want to get bigger and stronger you're going to have to man up a bit - work out hard and don't cry about a little fat gain. You're also going to need to start working with some heavier weights.

    If you're serious about wanting to gain muscle, you'll cut something out of your life to give you money to go to the gym. So unless your 18 with three kids and on welfare I don't really see how you can not afford to get a gym membership.

    Dude, if you are not going to go to a gym at least get a barbell and some plates so you can do some compound lifts.
